Midwest Rotary Rendezvous

3 Generations of RX-7s

The RX-7 Club of Wisconsin, The Northstar RX-7 Club (MN, ND, SD, IA, WI) and The Rotary Car Club of Chicago invite you to join them for the Midwest Rotary Rendevous on Sunday, July 22, 2001 at the best road track in this country, Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI) for a day of showing off our cars, enjoying each other's company, and watching great road racing.

Due to lots of interest, we will be able secure both reduced price tickets ($32) and a reserved car corral area for our club which is separate from the public parking areas plus has views of two major sections of the track (an additional $30).

There are four days of race activity beginning Thursday in case you want to make a full weekend of it, and we would like to see absolutely every RX-7 from the Midwest (and possibly points beyond!) on Sunday. The events for Sunday, July 22 are as follows: Rendevous and caravan with your closest club group or plan on arriving at Road America between 8:30 - 9AM. The gates open at 7:30 AM. Racing begins at 9:00 AM--this is Vintage Racing at its best - the Brian Redman International Challenge. It's also the 35th Anniversary Reunion for these fast Can-Am cars.

To reserve your ticket and parking spot (reservations need to be placed prior to April 1, 2001), please contact Joanne Turim, President of The RX7 Club of WI. She will be able to provide you with information about directions and payment policy. All ticket sales are final. Tickets will be mailed to each participant.

To coordinate caravaning to the event, contact the club closest to your location:

Unobtanium Motorsports Bushing Kit

Unobtanium Motorsports now offers Nylatron 6/6 bushing kits for the 3rd gen RX-7. Front, rear, differential mount, and full kits are available. Nylatron 6/6 is an extremely high density plastic with self-lubricating properties, so no greasing or maintenance of the bushing is necessary. It does not break down with heat or cycling of the suspension like rubber or polyurethane bushings, and is not as brittle as Delrin, making it perfect for high wear applications.

There is also a group buy offer on the full kit until the end of January. The full kit includes 18 bushings (all of the upgradeable ones).
